As the seasons rapidly change around us, so does the Bog. The spring ephemerals are fading and being replced by new flora with bright new colors and shapes. The Southern Blue Flag Iris (Iris virginica, variety: shrevei) is coming into it’s own right now. These incredibly beautiful and intricate blooms don’t last long, maybe a day once they pop. Get out here to experience these short lived bloomers.
